Also called Red Drum, the Redfish is one of the most popular fish in the American South.  This painting depicts a healthy fish in its prime with vibrant colors and little wear and tear.  Their signature feature is the black spot on their tail--if you see this sticking out of the water in the marsh, it's a redfish.
